The Veteran Patron Saints Poster Series is created entirely by military veterans who understand service as more than duty—it is a lifelong commitment to justice. By placing veteran creators at the center of this work, the series honors a tradition of veterans who didn’t stop serving when the uniform came off, but instead helped build movements for civil rights, labor justice, LGBTQ+ equality, peace, and democracy.

This is art rooted in lived experience, designed by veterans who know that storytelling is a form of organizing—and that culture helps move people to action. Every poster connects past struggle to present-day movement building, reminding us that veterans have always been, and continue to be, a force for social change.
